Chickpeas

Chickpea, (Cicer arietinum ), also called gram or Bengal gram, annual plant of the pea family (Fabaceae) is a rich source of protein, carbohydrates and minerals. The chickpea is important in Indian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. We offer two types of chickpeas; the white-seeded "Kabuli" and the brown coloured "Desi".
