Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum ) seed is the ripe fruit; a commercial part of an annual herb belongs to family Fabaceae. Fenugreek is used both as a food and food additive as well as in medicines. As a spice, it flavours food. In Hindi and Gujarati language it is known as Methi.
